يمكن لأغلب المصابين بقصور الدرقية تناول بعض الصويا. لكن توقيت تناولها يشكل فارقًا في النتيجة.

عادةً يتضمن علاج قصور الدرقية تناول دواء الهرمون الدرقي ليفوثيروكسين (Levo-T و Synthroid وغيرهما) يوميًّا. بيّنت الأبحاث أن الصويا قد تصعب من عملية امتصاص الجسم لهذا الدواء. إلا أن المصابين بقصور الدرقية لا يتوجب عليهم تجنب تناول الصويا بشكل كامل.

إذا كنت مصابًا بقصور الدرقية، اتبع إرشادات اختصاصي الرعاية الصحية بشأن كيفية تناول دواء الهرمون الدرقي. وبوجه عام، يُفضل تناول الدواء على معدة فارغة. واحرص على تناوله في نفس التوقيت يوميًّا. يبدأ أغلب الأشخاص يومهم بتناول الدواء في الصباح.
