احمرار العين عبارة عن مشكلة شائعة تؤثر على إحدى العينين أو كلتيهما. ويعود الاحمرار الذي يرتبط بالعين الحمراء إِلى أوعية الدم على سطح العين، إِذ تتوسع هذه الأوعية نتيجة الإصابة بنوع من التهيُّج أو الالتهاب.
