Banana pecan compote

Serves 6

Tip: Serve with pancakes and waffles or pair with your favorite low-fat yogurt.

  1. Add 4 ripe medium bananas.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
  3. Saute 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add 1/2 cup orange juice.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
  7. Let reduce for 2 minutes.
  8. Add 2 tablespoons chopped pecans.
