Baked brie envelopes

Serves 12

Tip: Prepare this appetizer the day before guests arrive. Keep wrapped in the fridge until ready to bake.

  1. Add 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries.
  2. Add 1/2 medium orange.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons sugar.
  4. Add 1 cinnamon stick.
  5. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  6. Set aside and let cool.
  7. Remove cinnamon stick and orange.
  8. Cut 1 sheet puff pastry into 12 squares.
  9. Add 1/2-ounce cube Brie cheese to each square.
  10. Add 1 teaspoon cranberry chutney.
  11. Mix 2 tablespoons water and 1 egg white.
  12. Brush with egg mixture.
  13. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 425 F.
