بالنسبة للطفل، كل يوم هو مغامرة جديدة — والحركة المستمرة هي أسلوب اللعب المفضل. ولهذا السبب فإن عامل السلامة من أهم الأمور المتعلقة بصحة الأطفال. اتخذي احتياطات بسيطة لمنع السقوط والحروق وغيرها من الحوادث المنزلية.

بالنسبة لكثير من الآباء والأمهات، يمكن لمحدودية مفردات الطفل أن تؤدي إلى مخاوف أخرى بخصوص صحة الطفل — مثل نوبات الغضب. تعرفي على أسباب نوبات الغضب، وما يمكنك القيام به لتشجيع السلوك الحَسَن.

ومن الأمور المهمة بخصوص صحة الأطفال أيضًا مسألةُ التدريب على القعّادة. اعرفي الوقت المناسب للبدء بتدريب الطفل على القعّادة - وإذا قاوم طفلك ذلك، فاعرفي الوقت المناسب لإيقاف التدريب مؤقتًا.

كما هو الحال دائمًا، يُعتبر طبيب طفلك مصدرًا رائعًا لإجابة الأسئلة المتعلقة بصحة الطفل. حاولي فهم المتوقع من طفلك، والمخاوف التي تستحق اهتمامًا خاصًا فيما يتعلق بصحته.
