Hi, I'm Dr. Yazan AlJamal, a cardiovascular surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I completed my training in both general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery here at Mayo and then spent a dedicated year at the University of Chicago, where I trained in robotic cardiac surgery — concentrating on robotic coronary bypass surgery.
My practice includes both open and robotic cardiac surgery.
I focus on complex coronary artery disease — mainly multivessel CABG, complex coronary targets, and reoperative cases in patients with prior stents and prior bypass.
I am dedicated to maximizing long-term outcomes through arterial grafting, meticulous technique, and choosing the right conduit for the right patient.
