Biographical summary
Anca Chiriac, M.D., Ph.D., is a practicing electrophysiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She has a passion for teaching and is the Assistant Program Director of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
After completing a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapies at Mayo Clinic and 4 years as a practicing hospitalist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, she moved to Florida and completed her cardiovascular medicine fellowship and electrophysiology fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Echocardiography.
She is interested in complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmia ablation in patients with congenital heart diseases and inherited arrhythmia syndromes, and fluoro-minimizing techniques.
