Dr. Toni Horton is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellowship-trained gynecologic surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She cares for patients from across the Southeastern United States with complex gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, uterine fibroids and chronic pelvic pain, focusing on thoughtful evaluation and individualized treatment options.

Dr. Horton completed specialized fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Mayo Clinic and is dedicated to offering laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches that reduce recovery time and help patients return to normal activities more quickly.

Her clinical expertise centers on complex benign gynecologic conditions and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, with a strong emphasis on offering treatments that can significantly improve quality of life, including:

  • Fertility-sparing procedures.
  • Endometriosis surgery – using advanced excision techniques to relieve pain.
  • Fibroid removal (myomectomy) – offering uterus-sparing treatment options.
  • Chronic pelvic pain – managed through a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach.
  • Minimally invasive hysterectomy – utilizing laparoscopic and robotic techniques for optimal recovery.

Dr. Horton specializes in a range of gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, uterine polyps, uterine anomalies, uterine isthmocele, pelvic floor dysfunction, ovarian remnant syndrome, female sexual dysfunction, and sexually transmitted diseases.

She places a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. She enjoys working with each individual to create a thoughtful, personalized treatment plan, while listening carefully and validating patient experiences.

"My goal is to truly understand each patient's experience and walk alongside them as we choose the most effective, least invasive path forward," says Dr. Horton. "I want each individual that I treat to regain confidence in their health, and get back to the people, routines, and moments that matter most in their life."

When she's not practicing medicine, Dr. Horton enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, training with Peloton, and relaxing with a good book.
