Biographical summary
Matt Ramsey, M.D., is a vascular and interventional radiologist at Mayo Clinic Florida. Driven by a passion for procedural medicine, he pursued a general surgery internship followed by a diagnostic radiology residency with early specialization in interventional radiology at The University of Tennessee Medical Center, which was followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Duke University Medical Center. Then, Dr. Ramsey spent time as an attending physician at both The University of Tennessee Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center before joining Mayo Clinic Florida.
Dr. Ramsey's clinical interests span the full breadth of interventional radiology, with a particular passion for treating pain and instability in patients with osseous metastatic disease. He also has a strong interest in genicular artery embolization, genicular nerve ablation, prostate artery embolization, complex IVC filter retrieval, portal hypertension/TIPS, and complex enteral access. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, working-out, grilling, attending sporting events, and spending time with his family.
