John Nathan, M.D., D.D.S., M.Sc., is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a special interest in obstructive sleep apnea surgery, head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery. He has completed fellowship training in sleep surgery, head and neck oncology, and microvascular reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Nathan earned his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, MN and his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York, NY. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and his sleep surgery and head and neck surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Nathan earned his Master of Science at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Science in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Dr. Nathan has published numerous scientific manuscripts on a multitude of topics pertaining to oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck oncology, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
