Advancing earlier detection, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Improving diagnosis and treatment for endometriosis. Studying uterine fibroids to improve diagnosis, treatment and long-term outcomes. Improving diagnosis and treatment for noncancerous gynecologic conditions. Developing and evaluating new, less invasive surgical approaches and technologies. Studying pregnancy complications and ways to help prevent them and improve outcomes for mothers and babies. Researching fetal survival and lung development early in pregnancy. Using research studies and clinical trials to improve treatments and devices for pelvic floor disorders. Using regenerative products to treat problems caused by exposed surgical mesh after pelvic reconstructive surgery. Collaborating with clinical genomics to study common chromosomal and genetic conditions during pregnancy. Studying whether cancer-reducing surgery can be safely done during cesarean delivery.
