Biographical summary
Timothy D. Lyon, M.D., is a urologic oncologist with subspecialty expertise in the multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers. His clinical interests include:
- Robotic and open radical cystectomy for bladder cancer
- Orthotopic neobladder reconstruction
- Intravesical therapy for noninvasive bladder cancer
- Surgical management of advanced renal cell carcinoma
- Nephron-sparing partial nephrectomy
- Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer
- Nerve-sparing robotic prostatectomy
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lyon is active in resident education and clinical research. He publishes regularly in the peer-reviewed scientific literature and participates in clinical trials investigating new therapies for patients with genitourinary malignancies.
