Biographical summary
Ross Avant, M.D., is a board-certified urologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of general urology conditions. He is also an Assistant Professor of Urology at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Avant attended medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He completed urology residency at Mayo Clinic — Rochester. After residency, he spent part of his time supporting the Mayo Clinic Health System in Southeast Minnesota while continuing to work in Rochester.
Dr. Avant’s clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with a variety of benign and malignant urologic conditions including: urinary retention, benign prostate enlargement (BPH) with a focus in robotic simple prostatectomy, kidney stones, bladder cancer, scrotal and testicular disorders and various urinary tract conditions.
