Dr. Parker is Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic Arizona. His passion is taking care of adults and young adults affected by epilepsy and movement disorders. He specializes in the use of minimally invasive techniques and neuromodulation devices to treat the spectrum of neurological disorders including epilepsy, movement, and psychiatric disorders.

As part of the comprehensive Mayo Clinic neurosciences team, Dr. Parker offers his patients the safest, most up to date, and most effective treatment options with a tailored and compassionate approach. The needs of the patient always come first. Dr. Parker focuses on taking time to get to know each patient, so that he can customize a treatment plan to focus on improving quality of life.

After completion of medical and graduate school training at University of Colorado, Dr. Parker completed his neurosurgery residency and a fellowship in Epilepsy and Stereotactic Surgery at Stanford University. At Stanford Hospital and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital he gained experience with both adult and pediatric epilepsy and deep brain stimulation surgery. He currently directs the Device-Based Neuroelectronics Research Lab at Mayo Clinic and speaks at the national level regarding advancements in neuromodulation therapy.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College and was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.
