His clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in management and treatment of vascular malformations
  • Use of locoregional therapies to patients with liver cancer (ex. TACE, radioembolization, ablation, IRE)
  • Cutting edge use of MRI for diagnosis and treatment of patients with prostate cancer
  • Treatment of complex venous disease including May-Thurner, chronic DVT/IVC reconstruction, difficult IVC filter removals

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Patel is active in both research and education, providing mentorship to medical students, residents and fellows.
