The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program may include:

  • Education sessions discussing breathing techniques, disease processes, respiratory medications, oxygen therapy, exercise techniques
  • Exercise reconditioning sessions
  • Oxygen dosing
  • A nutrition education session
  • Energy conservation techniques
  • An individualized session to go over results of tests, program recommendations, exercise prescription and any questions you may have
  • Recommendations to physicians of any changes or additional tests deemed necessary, such as oxygen therapy, overnight oximetry and medication changes
