Biographical summary
Benjamin D. Nordhues, M.D., is a board-certified general Cardiologist and Instructor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science whose clinical practice spans the breadth of cardiovascular medicine.
Following general cardiology and advanced echocardiography fellowships at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Nordhues offers clinical expertise in advanced echocardiography including transthoracic and transesophageal imaging and 3D echocardiography. Dr. Nordhues has particular expertise in pre-procedural assessment and real-time imaging guidance during and following structural heart procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and in the operating room.
A passionate medical educator, Dr. Nordhues is committed to mentoring the next generation of physicians and trainees, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and lifelong learning.
