Biographical summary
Fantine Giap, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist with specialized expertise in sarcoma and gynecologic cancer treatment. She is a strong advocate for the holistic well-being of each of her patients. Her approach ensures that the short- and long-term impacts of therapy align with each patient's values, lifestyle, and aspirations. Dr. Giap values her role in the multidisciplinary team, individualizing therapeutic options for her patients with the combined input of her specialty peers including oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists.
In addition to her clinical practice, she is passionate about patient-centered outcomes research with the goal of improving both the quality of care and overall patient experience. She is involved in innovative research investigating the role of particle therapy and brachytherapy in improving patient outcomes. Additionally, she is deeply committed to improving access to quality healthcare both in the local and global community.
