Research

Mayo Clinic doctors and researchers are studying new ways of using IORT to help more people with cancer.

Cancer research is conducted with the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center receives funding from the National Cancer Institute and is named as a comprehensive cancer center. This recognizes the center for scientific excellence and multidisciplinary resources focused on cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
