Honey sage carrots

Serves 4

Tip: To test carrots for doneness, pull out a slice while boiling and check it for tenderness.

  1. Boil 2 cups sliced carrots for 5 minutes.
  2. Add 2 teaspoons butter.
  3. Add cooked carrots.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons honey.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage.
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
  7. Add 1/8 teaspoon salt.
  8. Saute for 3 minutes.
