1. Gastrointestinal-Related Cancers and Diseases

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of applying to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the collection of GI-related tissue is to enable comprehensive molecular investigations into the mechanisms underlying gastrointestinal cancers and diseases.

2. Collecting Blood Samples From Patients With and Without Cancer to Evaluate Tests for Early Cancer Detection

   Mankato, Minn., La Crosse, Wis., Eau Claire, Wis., Albert Lea, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to collect blood and tissue samples from patients with and without cancer to evaluate laboratory tests for early cancer detection which may help researchers develop tests for the early detection of cancers.

3. Testing the Addition of a New Drug, Venetoclax, to the Usual Treatment (Ibrutinib and Rituximab) for Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia/Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of ibrutinib and rituximab with or without venetoclax in treating patients with previously untreated Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia/lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Venetoclax may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Giving venetoclax with ibrutinib and rituximab with may work better in treating patients with previously untreated Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia than ibrutinib and rituximab alone.

4. Differences in Immunological Effects of Vitamin D Replacement Among African American Prostate Cancer Patients With Localized Versus Metastatic Disease

   Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The aims of this study are to evaluate the prevalence of vitamin D insufficiency among B/AA prostate cancer patients and to determine the deficits in immunity associated with vitamin D insufficiency. Also, we will evaluate whether the peripheral blood immune cell function is different in B/AA prostate cancer patients with metastatic disease as compared with those with localized disease.

5. A Colon Bank for Early Detection of Colon Cancer

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to establish a biobank of samples (blood and stool) to support the development of non-invasive tests for early detection of colon cancer and its precursors.

6. A2B101-101: Obtaining Solid Tumor Tissue from Subjects Having Surgical Resection for Certain Tumor Types and Leukapheresis for CAR T-cell Therapy Manufacturing

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The primary objectives for this study are: 

   • The percentage of subjects who can enroll on an A2 CAR T-cell therapy study within approximately 6 months of documentation of HLA-A LOH status
   • The percentage of subjects who can enroll on an A2 CAR T-cell therapy study within approximately 12 months of documentation of HLA-A LOH status
   • The percentage of subjects who can enroll on an A2 CAR T-cell therapy study within approximately 18 months of documentation of HLA-A LOH status
   • The percentage of subjects who can enroll on an A2 CAR T-cell therapy study within approximately 24 months of HLA-A LOH status
   • Percentage of screened subjects experiencing loss of heterozygosity of HLA-A*02.

7. Study of RP-6306 With FOLFIRI in Advanced Solid Tumors

   Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The primary purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of RP-6306 with FOLFIRI in patients with eligible advanced solid tumors, determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), identify a recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) and preferred schedule, and assess preliminary anti-tumor activity.

8. Patient Outcomes after Hepatic Artery Infusion Pump Placement

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the short-term outcomes and the quality of life (QOL) after cholecystectomy and hepatic artery infusion pump placement for localized unresectable colorectal liver metastases (CRLM).

    

9. A Study to Compare Somatostatin Analogues with Perioperative Antibiotics versus Prolonged Antibiotics

   The purpose of this study is to to determine the individual treatment effect of somatostatin and whether duration of antibiotic therapy coupled with octreotide provides improved outcomes after pancreaticoduodenectomy. 

10. A Study to Evaluate Minimal Residual Disease in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

    The purpose of this study is to compare whether minimal residual disease (MRD) flow cytometric assay is not affected by different anticoagulants.
