eConsults are available through Orders Entry for straightforward advice to treating providers on how to proceed with occupational management such as work restrictions for personal or work-related medical conditions.

The occupational consult may recommend a clinical visit for more-complex cases. Referring providers have the option of requesting management of such issues through a clinical encounter and subsequent follow-up for that episode of care by placing a consult to Occupational Medicine.

  • An answering service will record the information. Appointment secretaries will call the physician (or physician's office) back between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central time.
