Jad G. Sfeir, M.D., is an endocrinologist and geriatrician at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His clinical focus is on prevention and management of age-related decline in bone and muscle strength that leads to osteoporosis, frailty and sarcopenia.

In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Sfeir is the inaugural Kogod Scholar at the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging where he is studying biomarkers of cellular senescence in the musculoskeletal system as well as mechanisms of targeting cell senescence to prevent age-related bone loss.
