Biographical summary
Dr. Trevor C. Phillips is a board-certified optometrist with a focus on comprehensive eye care, low vision, and glaucoma.
Dr. Phillips graduated summa cum laude from Luther College and with Highest Honors from Indiana University School of Optometry. He completed a residency in ocular disease at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, where he also worked with the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and the Miami Marlins baseball team. His clinical training additionally included external rotations in comprehensive eye care and ocular disease in Los Angeles County, California; Louisville, Kentucky; and the
Yukon-Kuskokwim region of Alaska. His native language is English, and he has working proficiency in Spanish.
Dr. Phillips' clinical and academic interests include long-term management of glaucoma and other ocular diseases, as well as helping individuals with permanent vision loss maximize their functional vision through personalized rehabilitation, adaptive devices, and training designed to support independence and daily living.
