Places to eat near Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota

Many restaurants in downtown Rochester are within walking distance of Mayo Clinic. You'll find traditional Minnesota favorites like walleye and wild rice soup as well as a growing range of global options. Familiar chain restaurants and value-priced options also suit a range of taste buds and special diets.

Both the downtown and Saint Marys campuses in Rochester also offer on-campus eating options.

Downtown Campus

The patient and visitor cafeteria is located on the street level of the Eisenberg Building. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cafeteria is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day including holidays. Visitors are welcome to have patients join them in the patient cafeteria.

The Skylight Commons in the subway level of the Mayo Building also serves breakfast and lunch, and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Vending machines on campus: Vending machines are in the cafeteria and also in patient and visitor areas on floors 5, 7, 9 and 10 in Methodist Hospital. Vending services include hot beverages, canned soda and snacks.

Saint Marys Campus

The patient and visitor cafeteria is on the main floor of the Francis Building. It features a complete breakfast menu, hot entrees, pizza, grilled and deli sandwiches, soups, salad bar and desserts. All food is available for takeout.

The Saint Marys Campus visitor cafeteria is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Breakfast: 7 to 10 a.m.
• Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Dinner: 4:45 to 7 p.m.

Vending machines and microwave ovens are available 24 hours a day at the following locations:
