1. A Study of the Making and Storage of a Bank of Special Stem Cells for Use in Future Research and the Growth of New Cells

   Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is the growing and storage of stem cells, made using the tissue samples of patients and others. As new technologies develop, these cells may be able to be grown into new cells to replace those damaged by disease or injury.

2. Estimation of Biomechanical Aortic Wall Properties in Healthy and Aneurysmal Aortas Using Novel Imaging Techniques

3. A Safety to Evaluate the Safety and Effectiveness of Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosolized Chemotherapy in Ovarian, Uterine, Colorectal, and Gastric Cancer Patients

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) in 2 groups of patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC), either due to primary ovarian, uterine, or gastric carcinoma (Arm 1) or to primary colorectal carcinoma (Arm 2), based on treatment-related adverse events reported by National Cancer Institute (NCI) Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) version 5.0.  

4. ESG Use for Weight Loss in Obese UC Patients Undergoing Colectomy With IPAA

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) for weight loss in a population of obese ulcerative colitis (UC) patients undergoing colectomy with eventual ileal pouch anal anastomosis (IPAA). 

5. A Study to Develop Liquid Biopsy for Pediatric Brain Tumor Patients

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to confirm detection of the H3K27M mutation in patient biofluids (CSF, blood, urine, saliva) and uncover the molecular histone (alkaline protein) profile of H3K trimethylation and H3S phosphorylation in the circulating nucleosomes isolated from the biofluids of patients with H3K27M tumors.

6. A Study to Evaluate Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Reducing Anastomotic Stenosis

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is evaluate the safety of allogeneic adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell (AMSC) use during hemodialysis arteriovenous fistula and arterial bypass creation and its effectiveness on improving access maturation and primary anastomotic patency.

8. Retrospective and Prospective Lymphedema Database

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study will be collection of standard and routinely obtained data specifically in the preoperative evaluation; operative room, postoperative/hospitalization period, and long term follow from the electronic medical record. 

9. Circulating Tumor Nucleic Acids to Monitor Treatment Response in Metastatic Melanoma Patients

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This project will investigate whether the analysis of nucleic acids circulating in the blood from tumors can allow real-time monitoring of treatment response to targeted therapy and immunotherapy for patients who have stage IV metastatic melanoma.

10. A Registry to Follow Long-Term Outcomes for Mother and Child Pairs After Fetal Surgery for Spina Bifida

    The purpose of this study is to form a registry of data on the long term physical and mental health outcomes of the mother and child following fetal surgical repair for spina bifida.
