The range of treatments offered to people with skin cancer includes a variety of surgical procedures, including biopsies, wide excisions, Mohs surgery, more-extensive operations and plastic surgery. Other treatments, such as chemotherapy, biological therapy, photodynamic therapy and radiation therapy also are available.
