2. Cystic Kidney and Liver Disease Biobank

   This research study is being done to create a collection of biospecimens (blood, urine, cyst fluid, bile, kidney or liver tissue, etc.) that can be used to facilitate the conduction of research on polycystic kidney and/or liver disease.

3. Comparing Retreatment Of 177Lu-DOTATATE PRRT Versus Everolimus In Patients With Metastatic Unresectable Midgut Neuroendocrine Tumors, NET RETREAT Trial

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is tol compare the effect of retreatment with 177Lu-DOTATATE peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) to the usual approach of treatment with everolimus in patients who have previously received 177Lu-DOTATATE for midgut neuroendocrine tumor (NET) that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic) and that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable).  

4. Biobank for Cholestatic Liver Diseases

   This study is a biobank of specimens and clinical data for use in current and future research to better understand the cholestatic liver diseases primary biliary cirrhosis/cholangitis (PBC) and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).

5. A Study to Evaluate the Response of Dietary Therapy in Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to investigate the response rate of dietary therapy in patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and determine rates of long-term compliance with the food elimination diets (SFED, FFED, step-up), and also to identify patient, clinical, and endoscopic factors that may be associated with increased rates of success in patients undergoing dietary therapy in EoE.

6. A Study to Evaluate the Effects of Ondansetron on Gastrointestinal Sensorimotor Dysfunctions in Diabetes Mellitus and Dyspepsia

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to understand why patients with indigestion, with or without diabetes, have gastrointestinal symptoms and, in particular, to understand where the symptoms are related to increased sensitivity to nutrients.Subsequently, look at the effects of Ondansetron on these patients' symptoms.

7. A Study to Establish an Obesity-Related Phenotype Registry

   The purpose of this study is to create a registry of obese patients who have been phenotyped to understand the heterogeneity of obesity.

8. A Study to Evaluate Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy to Treat Patients with Pancreatic Cancer and Peritoneal Metastasis

   Rochester, Minn.

   The primary purpose of this study is to assess short-term morbidity and disease-free survival outcomes for patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma with limited low volume peritoneal metastasis or positive peritoneal cytology undergoing hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy.

    

    

9. SULF1 and SULF2 Role in Cholangiocarcinoma

   Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) has key similarities with HCC, therefore, we hypothesize that Sulf1 and Sulf2 may also play roles in promotion of CCA progression.

10. Celiac Disease Registry

    Rochester, Minn.

    The purpose of this study is to develop a resource (bank) of biospecimens (blood, tissue, stool) and data collected from individuals with known or suspected gluten enteropathy, including celiac disease (CD) and dermatitis herpetiformis (DH).  Other enteropathies will also be included: collagenous sprue, idiopathic sprue, lymphocytic enterocolitis, idiopathic enteropathies, collagenous gastritis, Whipple’s disease, and other miscellaneous inflammatory disorders of the small intestine. This resource will be invaluable in answering the important questions outlined above and other future unanswered questions.
