William W. Sheaffer, M.D., is a vascular surgeon whose practice encompasses the full spectrum of vascular care, including open and complex endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, advanced endovascular limb salvage techniques, open bypass procedures for limb-threatening ischemia, hybrid operations, and the treatment of venous disease.

Dr. Sheaffer graduated from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society as a junior member and was awarded the Keith Lillemoe Scholarship. He completed both his General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona.

During his surgical training, Dr. Sheaffer was recognized with the Chief Resident of the Year Award, received a Best Paper Award, and earned multiple Best Presentation Awards at regional and national scientific meetings.
