Amy L. Rutt, D.O., is an otolaryngologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, with advanced subspecialty training in laryngeal surgery and voice disorders. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rutt is active in research and medical education. Her research interests include innovative approaches to vocal fold disorders and regenerative therapies designed to restore laryngeal function. Her work has included collaboration with Mayo Clinic's Center for Regenerative Medicine, reflecting a broader interest in translating advances in research into new approaches to patient care.

Dr. Rutt earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Detroit Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Laryngology at Hahnemann University Hospital at Drexel University College of Medicine. During her advanced training, she studied under Robert Sataloff, M.D., an internationally recognized authority in laryngology and professional voice care.

Dr. Rutt is board certified in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery and has been recognized for her contributions to clinical care, education and research.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rutt enjoys spending time with her family, Lagree fitness, the beach, scuba diving, her four dogs and two saltwater aquariums.
