Dr. Adam M. Kase is a genitourinary medical oncologist, physician scientist, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He went on to complete his combined Hematology/Oncology fellowship and Clinician Investigator Training fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Florida where he also served as chief fellow.

Dr. Kase has developed expertise in treating patients with prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer. He is engaged in clinical trials and translational research including patient-derived tumor xenograft models and high-throughput drug assays using 3D spheroids to discover novel therapeutic strategies for prostate cancer. He has ongoing projects in molecular targeted therapies based on personalized oncogenic genomic alterations and is involved in designing and developing clinical trials using personalized neoantigen vaccines for cancer. Dr. Kase also has a passion for healthcare disparities with a focus on African American/Black men with prostate cancer and is collaborating with international investigators to bridge the disparity gap.

Being diagnosed with cancer can be life changing impacting a patient’s physical and emotional wellbeing. My goal is to provide knowledgeable and compassionate care while empowering patients throughout their journey.
