Mayo Clinic researchers look at methods to improve surgical techniques and patient outcomes, including colostomy reversal procedures. Their studies also explore ways to enhance quality of life for those with underlying health issues, such as colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, or congenital conditions.
