William F. Young, Jr., M.D., is the Tyson Family Endocrinology Clinical Professor and Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He is the recipient of multiple education awards and is a past president of the Endocrine Society and past chair of the Division of Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Young's clinical focus is on adrenal gland disorders (e.g., primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, incidentally discovered adrenal masses) and pituitary gland disorders (e.g., pituitary tumors). He has published more than 300 articles on endocrine hypertension and adrenal and pituitary disorders. Dr. Young has presented at more than 650 national and international meetings and he has been an invited visiting professor for more than 150 medical institutions.
