Dr. Khalid Jazieh (MBBS) is an oncologist at the Mayo Clinic specializing in the care of gastrointestinal cancers. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Dr. Jazieh attended medical school at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he graduated as class valedictorian. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He also served as Chief Resident of Quality & Safety at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Jazieh did his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN prior to joining the GI Oncology team at Mayo.
Dr. Jazieh's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with GI cancers such as such as pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, biliary cancer, colon cancer, and others. His academic interests include clinical studies, quality improvement, and educating trainees.
