Research

Mayo Clinic researchers are studying ways to improve breast reconstruction and its long-term results. This includes new surgical techniques to restore sensation and pathways to help patients make more-informed decisions. Research aims to lessen complications and other short- and long-term effects of treatment while improving how reconstructed breasts look, feel and function.
