Across the United States, families are weighing their options to protect their children against COVID-19. For eight families, the COVID-19 vaccine was a clear choice. Their motivation is the desire to keep family members safe, protect the community and return to pre-pandemic activities.
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has received emergency use authorization for children ages 5 through 15. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has also approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, now called Comirnaty, for people age 16 and older.
