Biographical summary
Benjamin Hibbert, M.D., Ph.D., is a cardiologist with expertise Structural Interventional Cardiology and provides Cardiac Critical Care, percutaneous coronary interventions, and structural heart disease
interventions.
Dr. Hibbert completed his pre-medical and medical training at the University of Ottawa. He completed his Honors Bachelors of Science earning the University Gold Medal for highest standing. In 2006 he
completed a Doctorate in Medicine then followed with Internal Medicine training. He subsequently went on to complete his Cardiology training and the Clinician Investigator Program while obtaining his PhD in Biochemistry. Finally, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from 2013-2015 with a focus on Structural Heart Interventions.
Dr. Hibbert's research program focuses on meta-research, preclinical studies, and clinical research — including outcome research and clinical trials in both Interventional Cardiology and Critical Care Cardiology.
