Biographical summary
Jake Besch, M.D., is a dermatologist specializing in general and complex medical dermatology. Dr. Besch’s clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of skin conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, autoimmune and connective tissue disorders, and skin cancer.
He completed medical school, a transitional year internship, and dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where he served as chief resident. His research has focused on cutaneous lymphoma, melanoma, skin cancer disparities and prevention, and dermatology education. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Besch is active in medical education and mentorship and has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
