Research

Mayo Clinic researchers are studying ways to improve care and outcomes for people who have pancreatectomy. Research includes new minimally invasive techniques and ways to reduce complications and improve recovery after surgery. Researchers also are studying quality of life and long-term health after pancreatectomy, including the effects of diabetes after total pancreatectomy.

See a list of publications about pancreatectomy by Mayo Clinic doctors on PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine.
