Mayo Clinic cancer rehabilitation professionals create a personalized care plan for you based on your needs. A plan can be created to address many conditions. This might include memory and thinking changes, loss of flexibility and movement, and swelling caused by changes in your lymphatic system, called lymphedema. A cancer rehabilitation plan also can help with muscle weakening, numbness, pain and distress, among many others.

Access to the latest in rehabilitation therapy

At Mayo Clinic you have access to the latest treatments and a wide variety of therapies to help you recover. Your cancer rehabilitation program could include retraining of muscle groups, exercise, bracing and other therapies to help you improve your overall function and resume regular activities.
