Bennett, O.D., Mayo Clinic Department of Ophthalmology, discusses research involving the incidence of concussions experienced by football players. The estimates vary depending on whether the players are in high school, college or the NFL. There are concerns about underreporting of concussions. Using a tachistoscope created with an iPad app, researchers devised a test to identify concussed players by testing memory and recall of plays.
