Timothy D. Lyon, M.D., FACS is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist with subspecialty expertise in the multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers. His clinical interests include:

  • Robotic and open radical cystectomy for bladder cancer
  • Orthotopic neobladder reconstruction
  • Noninvasive bladder cancer, including intravesical therapy and blue light cystoscopy
  • Surgical management of advanced renal cell carcinoma
  • Nephron-sparing partial nephrectomy
  • Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer
  • Nerve-sparing robotic prostatectomy

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lyon is active in medical education and research, publishing regularly in the peer-reviewed scientific literature and providing mentorship to trainees. He is an active clinical investigator and is currently recruiting for multiple clinical trials investigating novel therapies for the treatment of genitourinary malignancies. Dr. Lyon is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
