Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Blemishes on the skin
  2. burning, itching, redness, skin rash, swelling, or soreness at the application site
  3. dry skin
  4. pimples

Less common

  1. Redness of the eye
  2. redness or stinging of the skin

Incidence not known

  1. Back pain
  2. black, tarry stools
  3. blurred vision
  4. chest pain or tightness
  5. confusion
  6. cough
  7. cracks in the skin
  8. difficulty breathing
  9. difficulty swallowing
  10. dizziness
  11. drowsiness
  12. fast heartbeat
  13. fever
  14. general feeling of illness
  15. headache
  16. hives, itching, skin rash
  17. large, hive-like swelling on the face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs
  18. loss of heat from the body
  19. persistent non-healing sore
  20. pink growth
  21. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  22. red, swollen skins
  23. reddish patch or irritated area
  24. scaly skin
  25. seizures
  26. shiny bump
  27. swollen glands
  28. thickening of bronchial secretions
  29. unusual tiredness or weakness
  30. weight loss
  31. white, yellow or waxy scar-like area
  32. yellow skin and eyes

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
