Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

More common

  1. Chills
  2. cough producing mucus
  3. earache
  4. ear congestion
  5. feeling faint
  6. fever
  7. headache
  8. lightheadedness
  9. loss of voice
  10. nasal congestion
  11. noisy breathing
  12. nosebleeds
  13. pain or tenderness around the eyes and cheekbones
  14. redness or swelling in the ear
  15. runny nose
  16. sneezing
  17. sore throat
  18. stuffy or runny nose
  19. tightness in the chest
  20. troubled breathing

Less common

  1. Blurred vision
  2. body aches or pain
  3. fast heartbeat
  4. hives, itching, skin rash
  5. hoarseness
  6. irritation
  7. joint pain, stiffness, or swelling
  8. muscle weakness
  9. redness of the skin
  10. swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, hands, or feet
  11. troubled swallowing
  12. unusual tiredness or weakness

Incidence not known

  1. Burning, redness, swelling, or irritation around or inside your nose
  2. darkening of the skin
  3. diarrhea
  4. dizziness
  5. eye pain
  6. loss of appetite
  7. mental depression
  8. nausea or vomiting
  9. sores or white patches inside the nose or mouth
