Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

  1. Abdominal cramps
  2. abdominal pain or swelling
  3. anxiety
  4. black, tarry stools
  5. bladder pain
  6. blood in eyes
  7. bloody or cloudy urine
  8. blue lips, fingernails, or skin
  9. bruising or purple areas on skin
  10. bumps on skin
  11. burning, itching, redness, or stinging of skin
  12. chills
  13. cold sweats
  14. coma
  15. cool, pale skin
  16. cough
  17. coughing up blood
  18. darkening of skin
  19. decreased alertness
  20. decreased frequency or amount of urine
  21. diarrhea
  22. difficulty in breathing
  23. fast heartbeat
  24. fever
  25. high blood pressure
  26. increased blood pressure
  27. increased hunger
  28. increased thirst
  29. indigestion
  30. irregular, fast or slow, or shallow breathing
  31. irregular heartbeats
  32. irritability
  33. joint pain or swelling
  34. loss of appetite
  35. muscle cramps in hands, arms, feet, legs, or face
  36. muscle twitching
  37. nausea or vomiting
  38. nervousness
  39. nosebleeds
  40. passing of gas
  41. rapid, shallow breathing
  42. rash on skin
  43. restlessness
  44. seizures
  45. shakiness
  46. shortness of breath
  47. sneezing
  48. stomach pain, fullness, or discomfort
  49. swelling of face, fingers, feet or lower legs
  50. tremor
  51. troubled breathing with exertion
  52. unusual bleeding or bruising
  53. unusual tiredness or weakness

Incidence not known

  1. Bleeding, blistering, coldness, discoloration of skin, hives, infection, inflammation, itching, lumps, pain, rash, redness, scarring, soreness, swelling, tenderness, ulceration, or warmth at injection site
  2. bleeding gums
  3. blood in stools
  4. chest pain or discomfort
  5. clay-colored stools
  6. dark urine
  7. dilated neck veins
  8. dry mouth
  9. extreme fatigue
  10. fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat or pulse
  11. flushed, dry skin
  12. fruit-like breath odor
  13. pinpoint red spots on skin
  14. severe constipation
  15. severe vomiting
  16. stomach upset
  17. sweating
  18. swelling of abdominal or stomach area
  19. tenderness in stomach area
  20. ulcers, sores, or white spots in mouth
  21. unexplained weight loss
  22. unpleasant breath odor
  23. vomiting of blood
  24. weight gain
  25. wheezing
  26. yellow eyes or skin

Symptoms of overdose

  1. Agitation
  2. change in consciousness
  3. drowsiness
  4. lethargy
  5. loss of consciousness
  6. rapid weight gain
  7. stupor
  8. swelling of face, ankles, or hands
