1. A Study to Evaluate Immune and Hematopoietic Cell Assessment in Clonal B Cell Conditions

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the immune and hematopoietic compartments in patients with monoclonal B cell lymphocytosis (MBL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in comparison to age-matched healthy control (HC) donors.

2. Tissue and Blood Registry for Individuals with Liver and Biliary Tumors

   This study will collect and store samples of tissue and blood for current and future research studies on Liver and Biliary Tumors.

3. Donor-Specific Cell Free DNA Monitoring of Thoracic Allografts

   The purpose of this study is to determine if DNA originating from the transplanted heart or lung can be detected in the blood and used to monitor for rejection.

4. Ultrasound Microvessel Imaging of Transplant Kidney

   The purpose of this study is to investigate the value of ultrasound microvessel imaging for evaluation of transplant kidney health.

5. A Study to Explore Ghrelin Levels with Primary Graft Dysfunction in Lung Transplant Recipients

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to investigate ghrelin, a peptide that mechanistically carries the promise of therapeutics benefit for diverse aspects of morbidity associated with lung transplantation.

6. Authorizaton to Use Clincially Obtained Data for Research

   Rochester, Minn.

   This study is being done to gather information regarding your health in relation to your composite tissue transplant. We would like to use your medical records (both existing and future) to study the health of patients who will receive or have received a composite tissue transplant. This research would include looking at your demographic information, cause of initial injury, laboratory test results and medical exams relating to your pre and post transplant care, and your mental well-being before and after transplant.

    

7. A Study to Evaluate the Role of Gut Microbiome in Cancer Therapy

   Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to correlate gut microbiome with specific cancer diagnoses and the clinical response (effectiveness), and adverse effects of cancer therapy (single or multiple) and stem cell transplant.

    

8. Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole Graded Administration in Oncology, Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant, and Solid Organ Transplant Patients with a History of Sulfonamide Allergy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The aim of this study is to study the efficacy and safety of our short and long one-day protocols for TMP-SMX graded administration in hematologic malignancy, hematopoietic stem cell transplant, and solid organ transplant patients.    

9. A Study Looking at the Impact of Gabriel House of Care (a Hospital Hospitality House, HHH) on the Quality of Life and Mood of Liver Transplant Patients

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The aim of this study is to measure the differences in quality of life and mood of liver transplant recipients in the immediate month post- transplant staying at the Gabriel House of Care staying at a hotel, apartment or rental property. 

10. Obesity Treatment Outcomes in Liver Transplant Recipients

    Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

    The purpose of this study is to prospectively evaluate the safety and effectiveness of standard of care, individualized, comprehensive weight loss interventions in carefully selected patients with obesity undergoing liver transplant evaluation, including utilization of best lifestyle modifications and guidance to promote a healthy weight, possible medical therapy using FDA-approved weight loss medications and EBMTs with or without concomitant medical therapy.
