A Study Evaluating The Safety, Efficacy, And Pharmacokinetics Of Mosunetuzumab And A Combined Regimen Of Mosunetuzumab And Venetoclax In Participants With Relapsed Or Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Rochester, Minn. This study will assess the safety, tolerability, pharmaokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of mosunetuzumab (Lunsumio) monotherapy in participants with relapsed or refractory (R/R) chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). This study will also allow participants who are currently progressing on a Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor (BTKi) and requiring salvage therapy as assessed by the treating physician to continue their BTKi throughout the screening period and for the first three cycles of mosunetuzumab. An additional arm (open to non-US participants only) has been added to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of mosunetuzumab in combination with venetoclax, a B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) inhibitor. Sacituzumab Tirumotecan (MK-2870) In Combination With Pembrolizumab Versus Pembrolizumab Alone In Metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) With Programmed Cell Death Ligand 1 (PD-L1) Tumor Proportion Score (TPS) ≥ 50% (MK-2870-007) Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla. The primary objective of the study is to compare sacituzumab tirumotecan combined with pembrolizumab to pembrolizumab alone with respect to overall survival (OS). The primary hypothesis is that the combination of sacituzumab tirumotecan and pembrolizumab is superior to pembrolizumab alone with respect to OS. All participants who have completed the first course of pembrolizumab may be eligible for up to an additional 9 cycles of pembrolizumab monotherapy if there is blinded independent central review (BICR)-verified progressive disease by Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) after initial treatment. Study Of Carboplatin And Mirvetuximab Soravtansine In First-Line Treatment Of Patients Receiving Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy With Advanced-Stage Ovarian, Fallopian Tube Or Primary Peritoneal Cancer Rochester, Minn. The proposed study design is a single arm Phase II trial to document the feasibility of carboplatin-mirvetuximab - in patients with advanced-stage EOC. Patients with biopsy confirmed, newly diagnosed, advanced-stage serous EOC deemed appropriate for NACT will have their tumors evaluated for FRα receptor over-expression via a centralized immunohistochemical assay (IHC) and identified as appropriate for study participation if IHC staining is PS2+ in \>75% of cells (40% of all serous patients). Eligible patients will receive NACT with one cycle of carboplatin, followed by mirvetuximab + carboplatin (if FRα +) every 21 days for three cycles prior to interval cytoreductive surgery (iCRS). A total of 70 will be included in the study. Following completion of 4 cycles total of NACT and after allowing for appropriate recovery of cycle # 4, patients eligible for surgery, will undergo an iCRS. Patients will then complete 3 more cycles of mirvetuximab + carboplatin for a total of 7 intended cycles of treatment. It is up to the treating physician if they want to add bevacizumab to the last 2 cycles or use any type of maintenance therapy. The decision to add bevacizumab or use maintenance therapy does not need to be made upfront. Patients will sign a screening consent form prior to tissue biopsy. If a patient is found to be FRα negative, their treating physician can select the treatment they deem appropriate and the patient will be declared a screen failure. Patients with BRCA mutations are not excluded from this trial and are allowed to receive standard of care maintenance therapy including bevacizumab and/or PARP inhibitors. Chemotherapy For The Treatment Of Patients With Newly Diagnosed Very Low-Risk And Low Risk Fusion Negative Rhabdomyosarcoma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to maintain excellent outcomes in patients with very low risk rhabdomyosarcoma (VLR-RMS) while decreasing the burden of therapy using treatment with 24 weeks of vincristine and dactinomycin (VA) and examines the use of centralized molecular risk stratification in the treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma.Additionally, to find out how well patients with low risk rhabdomyosarcoma (LR-RMS) respond to standard chemotherapy when patients with VLR-RMS and patients who have rhabdomyosarcoma with DNA mutations get separate treatment. Finally, this study examines the effect of therapy intensification in patients who have RMS cancer with DNA mutations to see if their outcomes can be improved. A Study To Evaluate Regulation Of The Metabolism Of T-Cells By The Tumor Microenvironment In Ovarian Cancer Metastasis Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the immune cell repertoire changes during early and late metastasis which could shed light into how the tumor microenvironment in metastatic disease becomes tumor permissive. A Study To Evaluate Immune-related Biomarkers For Pathological Response In Stage II-III HER2-positive Breast Cancer Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate invasive disease-free survival (iDFS) of multi-epitope HER2 vaccine vs. placebo in combination with ado-trastuzumab emtansine (TTT-DM1) in patients with stage II-III HER2+ breast cancer with residual disease post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and to evaluate the safety of multi-epitope HER2 vaccine given concurrently with T-DM1 maintenance therapy. Testing The Addition Of An Anti-cancer Drug, Selinexor, To The Usual Chemotherapy Treatment (Temozolomide) For Brain Tumors That Have Returned After Previous Treatment Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of phase 1 of this trial is to determine the maximum tolerated dose of temozolomide followed by selinexor in recurrent glioblastoma patients as determined by dose-limiting toxicities [DLTs] and the total toxicity profile. The purpose of phase 2 of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of sequentially administering temozolomide and selinexor in recurrent glioblastoma as determined by progression-free survival [PFS]. ORACLE: Observation Of ResiduAl Cancer With Liquid Biopsy Evaluation Rochester, Minn. The purpose of ORACLE is to demonstrate the ability of a novel ctDNA assay developed by Guardant Health to detect recurrence in individuals treated for early-stage solid tumors. It is necessary that ctDNA test results are linked to clinical outcomes in order to demonstrate clinical validity for recurrence detection and explore its value in a healthcare environment subject to cost containment. MC230818 Understanding The Mechanisms Of Clonal And Non-clonal Cytopenia Following CAR-T Therapy Jacksonville, Fla., La Crosse, Wis., Mankato, Minn., Rochester, Minn., Eau Claire, Wis., Albert Lea, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This clinical trial evaluates the impact of preexisting and therapy-emergent germline and somatic variants on cytopenia in patients with multiple myeloma or CD19 positive lymphoproliferative disorder (LPD) following chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. The most common adverse event after CAR-T therapy is lower than normal blood cells (cytopenia) and up to one third of patients experience cytopenia that last longer than 30 days post-infusion. Germline and somatic variants are changes in genes found using cancer genomic tests. Cancer genetic/genomic testing is a series of tests that find specific changes in cancer cells or in blood deoxyribonucleic acid. Identifying gene mutations may help identify the risk of cytopenia in patients with multiple myeloma or CD19 positive LPD following CAR-T therapy. Bladder Bank (A Prospective Banking Study) Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to establish samples (blood and urine) to support the development of non-invasive tests for early detection of bladder cancer Pagination Clinical studies PrevPrevious Page Go to page 66 Go to page 77 Go to page 88 Go to page 99 Go to page 1010 NextNext Page Request an appointment Expertise & rankingsResearch Dec. 24, 2024 Share on: FacebookTwitter Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, have been recognized among the top Cancer hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The patient comes first. So the mission and research here is to advance how we can best help the patient, how to make sure the patient comes first in care. So in many ways, it's a cycle. It can start with as simple as an idea worked on in a laboratory, brought to the patient bedside, and if everything goes right — and let's say it's helpful or beneficial — then brought on as a standard approach. And I think that is one of the unique characteristics of Mayo's approach to research — that patient-centeredness — that really helps to put it in its own spotlight.
