Today's executives have more on their plates because life is not all about work. Besides driving results in business, they seek challenging and rewarding experiences outside the office.

For more than 40 years, the Mayo Clinic Executive Health Program has been leveraging our nationally recognized expertise to help executives, business owners and entrepreneurs maintain good health. This unique program is designed to help individuals access Mayo Clinic preventive care through a focused, efficient, individualized experience and ultimately gain more healthy years doing what they love in their personal and professional lives.

Designed with your time in mind

You're busy. Executive Health gets it. The program works within the constraints of your schedule to provide an efficient yet complete medical evaluation. Executive Health is also set up to be accessible from your home base — services are available at all three Mayo Clinic campus locations.

When you arrive, your executive health physician will take time to understand any concerns or issues you may have before acting as your guide throughout the entire evaluation process. At the end of your personalized evaluation, your physician will review the full report of test results with you and discuss next steps.

Although your visit is streamlined, the connection you make with Mayo Clinic is lasting. Participants in our program gain a trusted medical partner and often return yearly to meet with the physicians who helped launch their journeys toward health.

Comprehensive care and a seamless experience

Executive Health leverages your visit time through a customized, comprehensive one-, two- or three-day itinerary of exams and tests tailored to your specific needs.

  • Private executive lounge, with secure lockers for personal items
  • On-site business services with complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Guide to restaurants and transportation options, as well as local attractions and area amenities
  • Dedicated appointment coordinators to ensure your appointments are scheduled efficiently
  • Dedicated insurance coordinators to file claims on your behalf and work with insurance carriers to resolve claims

The Executive Health Program combines Mayo Clinic's traditional diagnostic expertise with recent developments in preventive medicine — all designed to get you in and out efficiently and back to what you love.

Your dedicated physician is actively involved throughout your entire evaluation process. Your evaluation starts when you arrive with a comprehensive review of your medical, family and social history, along with a complete physical exam.

Next, you and your physician will discuss your specific customized itinerary as well as any additional tests or consults that may be appropriate for you. Your itinerary will reflect both our assessment of your medical needs and your expressed preferences.

During your visit, you'll be seen at different testing areas throughout Mayo Clinic. A typical visit can last from one to three days.

After completing your itinerary, you'll meet with your doctor again to review your results together, and you'll discuss any next steps. Diagnosis or treatment can leverage the full depth and medical rigor of Mayo Clinic via access to specialists or further recommended follow-up.

A summary of your results can be mailed to you or made available in your secure online patient portal shortly after your final visit. A letter outlining these results also can be sent to your local doctor.

The standard testing protocol includes the preventive screening appointments that constitute the core of our program. Mayo Clinic physicians annually review and modify the program based on current scientific research and best practices. Your customized array of screening tests will reflect our assessment of your specific medical needs; in addition, you may request specific optional executive health services.
