Yasamin Sharifzadeh-Moghaddam, M.D.

Dr. Sharifzadeh is a Radiation Oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota with an interest in gastrointestinal, genitourinary (including prostate), and breast cancers, as well as both clinical and academic interest in radiation therapy for benign diseases. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University where she found her passion for patient care and medical research. She attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed her radiation oncology training at Mayo Clinic Rochester.

Dr. Sharifzadeh recognizes that the cancer care journey can be a profoundly challenging experience, often accompanied by uncertainty. She strives to not only provide expert care, but also steadfast support — she hopes to help her patients navigate the cancer journey with compassion and patient empowerment.
