Samine Ravanbakhsh, M.D.

Dr. Samine Ravanbakhsh is a general thoracic surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She received her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University and is dual boarded in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, completing general surgery residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.

Her practice incorporates all aspects of thoracic surgery with a focus on lung cancer, esophageal disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, and hyperhidrosis. She has extensive training in minimally invasive surgery and expertise in robotic surgery. Dr. Ravanbakhsh is an avid educator and mentor involved in the Mayo Clinic medical school and general surgery residency among other academic training programs. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and Spanish.
